The Association for the Promotion and Dissemination of International Humanitarian Law in Mali abbreviated APDDIH was established January 6, 2015 following an initiative of Mr. Modibo SACKO, Judge, Teacher and researcher in international humanitarian law in order to know and respect this law rules. Thus, the association registered under the receipt number 0036 / G-DB dated January 13, 2015 is a non-political, secular and anti-regionalist nonprofit composed of judges, lawyers, lawyers, students and researchers.
OBJECTIVE AND ROLE
The Association for the Promotion and Dissemination of International Humanitarian Law in Mali aims, dissemination of the Geneva Conventions and their additional protocols, dissemination of means of implementation of IHL, dissemination and promotion of treaties and conventions and ratified by the State of Mali in the framework of international law Humanitaire.IMG_8199
Also, promotion of international humanitarian law in times of peace, in times of international armed conflict and in times of non-international armed conflict from all walks of life and in academic circles, the armed and security forces, parliamentarians , associations of human rights, associations for the promotion of disarmament and non-proliferation of weapons, reintegration of refugees and displaced persons.

It also aims to assist and support the State of Mali, the International Committee of the Red Cross and other associations in the dissemination, promotion and implementation of international humanitarian law.
